This book has a lot of good content inside. It has a lot of information about mindfulness, especially the eight week program. It has a chapter for each week you can read about. I would reccomend this book.

Basically mindfulness is a scientifically based approach to meditation and an effective practice of training attention, awareness skills, and stress management. Thanks to mindfulness, we learn how to manage stress effectively, train our brain, “pump” emotional intelligence and gain inner strength and harmony. Depending on our conscious reactions, we can change our skills, character and life. I would recommend this book for eternal seekers of theirselves

There is an interesting anecdote in the book about a man suffering from anxiety,who is shown that despite him feeling that things were not going well,with a slight realignment, his situation is actually quite good.We learn how we can all practise mindfulness, but even if you don't master it completely you will see from the book that just taking some of the actions will lead to improvements in our lives

No complaints. My therapist recommended this for anxiety. I've been at it one week and I really enjoy the time it forces me to sit and process and be in the now instead of the worry that is anxiety. It gives plenty of space to write on each question. It's not demanding, I actually look forward to it. I wish that it were a hardcover as that would be easier to write in but other than that, it's great!
