"Golden Sayings and Fragments." Yes, it sounds like something from Grandma's attic; it's not. This is the complete extant Fragments, with generous and worthwhile excerpts from the Discourses and Enchiridion. Pair it with the Dover Thrift edition of Enchiridion, and you have all you ever need of Epictetus for less than ten bucks. Can't lose.
Service and price were great. The book is just a small compilation of fragments. No context, no fluidity.
Timeless sayings from a wise man. As relevant today as when they were first uttered.
