Strongly recommend it. I'm no biologist but as a mathematician I thought this book was a fascinating and captivating read.

Dr. Khan holds nothing back from telling it like it is on the ground during national and international health emergencies. His enlightening stories detail the multitude of barriers and hurdles the CDC and WHO must overcome to help the people who need it the most. And some of those barriers are erected by the very people (politicians) who are entrusted to protect us citizens. This book is a must read for every public servant.

Ali Khan did a great job at leading the reader through epidemiological adventures. Even those not acquainted with the world of public health and related sciences, will find frequent laughs mixed with education and sober reflection of potential future events. Considering how off course the media leads us in light of more pertinent and pressing matters of future health, this is a useful read for anyone wanting clarity on real and imagined public health threats. So turn off the TV, and read.

The first hand accounts from the front lines of infectious disease are both inspiring and humbling. Nevertheless the ramifications of the subjugation Public Health to politics reveals the insanity and wide spread brain damage in the USA and the world! YMMV!

Definitely a great book to learn about your new camera. I was between this and the "D5600 for Dummies"I ended up buying both.. This book is without a doubt a better buy. I wish I would have only purchased this book. it is very thorough.

Excellent. If you have a Nikon D5600, you will find this book to be very useful. The only guide I've seen that not only describes the camera and its many controls, but also shows you how to use the camera to its maximum efficiency.

Really thorough, well written manual as expected from David Busch. In 2004 I bought his guide for one of the first Nikon digital SLRs, the Nikon D70s, and it was also excellent and informative, not only about how to use the camera itself, but also with very useful and clearly stated information about how to shoot various kinds of photos in general. After that early manual, I expected this one to be excellent as well, and it is. Everything is clearly written and easy to understand. There are plenty of photos to illustrate pretty much every topic he discusses, and all the photos are extremely helpful. to your comprehension of a subject.The manuals (usually a downloadable PDF now) that come with cameras these days are not nearly as complete or easy to understand as camera guides such as this one. The Nikon manual might tell you what setting choices are, but it doesn't tell you why to choose a particular setting, whereas this guide tells you why you should or perhaps should not choose a setting. This is a great book to read to understand your new D5600, and after studying it, it is still a great reference that you will use down the road. Worth every penny and highly recommended, especially if you are new to digital cameras. The D5600 is a fabulous camera, and it's worth your time to fully understand all that it can do.

I'm just going to say, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I knew I was taking a chance buying the camera. Would I be able to utilize the features? Or should I have stayed with the simpler type? I love the camera. I am quite certain I wouldn't be enjoying it so if I didn't have this book to help me. I've had it 8 months and haven't had a need to search any farther for additional information. I'm amazed at how much is in here. I'm sure it would be a great book for someone with plenty of DSLR experience too. If you're searching for a book to go with your D5600, I highly recommend this one. The author, David D. Busch, has written other books as well. I'd be willing to bet are 5 star also. Mine was even autographed : ) Thanks Mr. Busch

The D5600 is a quite different than a point and shoot camera. Sure, it's simple enough that you can be up and photographing with it in less than an hour. Newbies can even use it as a point and shoot camera with different lenses. But Mr. Busch not only explains the basics but takes the reader beyond so that they are aware of all the features of the D5600 and they can use as many as they choose. David Busch's Nikon D5600 Guide to Digital SLR Photography

Very use full as I have a 5600 on order. I just started to read it. The book contains color photos and detailed instructions. I would recommend it if you want to get creative instead of using the auto function.

Great help to me in getting up to speed rapidly with this very nice camera. Value-priced camera, yet very deep feature set that requires a fair amount of study to master.

Very comprehensive and easy to read with lots of illustrations and examples. An excellent resource for learning to use the D5600. The book would be valuable to both novices and experienced photographers.

I have enjoyed reading this book for the 2nd time. It is very interesting and makes the people of the Bible more real. This is the first of a set of 5 books called the Conflict of the Ages series. They go through the bible and the last book includes history of the early churches during the persecution of those who did not worship the way in which the majority thought they should worship. Very good books.

EDIT: THE CALENDAR WEEK STARTS ON MONDAY NOT SUNDAY. NOOOO.This product is what it is advertised to be, but quite frankly a disappointment. As others have mentioned, it is a very "coloring book" layout/feel...which wouldn't be so bad if the cover was laminated in some sort of coating. Instead everytime I pick up this planner it looks like I've smeared fried chicken on the cover. Immediately creates an unprovessional appearance, which was exactly what I was avoiding---hence why I purchased a black streamlined notebook.

This is all around a great agenda. The from cover is beautiful and has a velvet finish to its cover. When you open it on the inside it is very open and not crowded. I will be honest, I did not look at the agenda size and once it arrive it was larger than what I expected BUT after thinking that it is a monthly calendar and that it is supposed to last for 5 years, it is the perfect size (spacious and gives me the ability to write multiple things instead of cramming little letters here and there).The only thing I can write a con about is the cover material. Due to it being a 5 year agenda, I was hoping for it to be a little bit sturdier since it will be going into bags in and out and what not. It would be nice if the seller had some sort of plastic cover included or sold separately. Just a consideration.Overall I have satisfied with my purchase and will buy again.

This calendar is great. At my work we often end up planning trips a year in advance and this calendar allows me to track those and all my other important dates. Ill also be able to look back at the past few years for the different places ive traveled. Each month has two pages so theres plenty of space to write in each days block. A great buy for sure if you like to keep track of your years.

I was so excited to see this and love love the inside for what it is, but the moment you touch the book, fingerprints are left everywhere and with no way to clean those up. After opening the package, I touched it to look at it and the next time I went to start writing in it, I noticed all the prints that were on there from just opening the package!!Then I tried to laminate it so that it would be protected from the prints, and the machine (because of whatever the material was made of) ended up leaving white marks all over the cover as well. So now I have the fingerprint marks all over, and now the laminate that looks bad as well!!Goodness - I guess it was a good thought. I just wanted to warn you as a potential consumer of this product. I wish I could communicate with someone and get my money back but that isn't going to happen.

First, it should be known that the image on the cover is not shiny or sparkly -- it is a picture of something shiny or sparkly, printed on matte paper. The calendar was fine, the paper was good quality, but it was rather disappointing when it arrived because I expected the shine/sparkle to be real, not just a photograph. Ultimately, it was too bulky for everyday use.

It is so nice being able to see how my time is spent a month at a time; also, I love that I can see how far I have progressed in my graduate school studies since this planner is over a 5-year period.

It was exactly what I was looking for.
