This was a great book! Informative and eye opening examples of the maliciousness that plagues our current society. Excellent and educated examples of how many atrocities can be rectified with enough caring persons banding together to take a stand against hate crimes.

Extraordinarily important book. It gets to the heart of very difficult conflicts between free speech and privacy, and sets an agenda for civil rights in the digital era. It is also a compelling read--once you dive in, you won't stop, as Citron is such a great storyteller.

The current environment doesn’t blame the victim and every firm now has policies and programs to deal with workplace sexual harassment.She writes that to a large part, law enforcement and the media has taken the approach that today’s victims of internet trolls should use the sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me approach. But that gives little solace to victims of internet trolls who are living their lives in fear due to the many threats against them; from malicious impersonation, proxy stalking, rape and death threats and more.The book deals with the question of if there is something about the Internet that fuels destructive cyber mobs and individual harassers. She asks if the Internet brings out the worst in us, and why.She writes that women are more often the victims of cyber harassment then men. This week, Xeni Jardin wrote in Yet another female game dev targeted with credible threats after speaking out on sexism, Brianna Wu, developer of sci-fi action puzzler Revolution 60, had to leave their home due to a credible threat on Twitter.An account spammed Wu with violent threats and made it clear that it was doing so because of her outspoken support of women in tech and gaming. In response to that, she called the police, who came to her home.On the other side, British woman who was a troll and lead a vicious campaign of online abuse against the parents of missing girl Madeleine McCann committed suicide last week, when her identity was uncovered by the news media.To a large part, the anonymity of the net, the ability to cloak behind a sort of shield of invisibility, reduces peoples reason, and brings out their animalistic emotions. The first ten pages had very little text and just one painting analyzed on each of them but the diagrams drawn over the painting and descriptions taught me more about composition in 20 minutes than I had learned in years! His YouTube channel (Tavis Leaf Glover) is also phenomenal for learning composition secrets!

This book includes a good discussion of artistic composition, but it is more than a simple re-hashing of old rules. The author really helps the reader understand the composition tools that make the difference between ho-hum and WOW!

All artists need to read this book. It gives you so much more that the golden ratio or the rule of thirds to work with when it comes to designing a painting. I am a still life painter and it has made a difference in the way I setup and approach my still life subjects. Great book, easy read, loaded with information.

Highly detailed, well written book that opens new thoughts and ideas about photography.

Highly recommended for any visual artist. Not the typical photography composition rules. Helps you analyze your pictures and polish them consciously.

Our 8-year-old daughter is really just starting out in gymnastics... she's in lessons but really has taught herself a lot of things. We thought a book with tips and tricks would be a great accompaniment to some mats and beams we got her for Christmas. However, this book isn't what we expected. Not that it's a terrible book, it's just certainly not a "how-to" and contains no tricks or tips. It's very thin and basically just explains the difference between floor routines, bar routines, etc. I'd say it's good for maybe someone who knows nothing about what gymnastics is and needs an explanation of what gymnasts actually do.

Nice book with great pictures and easy to read instructions. My daughter found it useful and she's been in gymnastics for years.

I bought it thinking it would give my about-to-be-intermediate-gymnast daughter some insight into improving her act, but once we read it, we realized it's intended to draw beginners gymnasts' motivation, great for that purpose, anyway.

Daughter loved it.

VERY GOOD REFERENCE FOR A COACH!

Tremendous amount of information very interesting from start to end

I bought this book on a limb, not really knowing what to expect...But WOW am I glad it did! Could not have been happier with my purchase. I have little experience in trading and all I can say is WOW!!! Hands down one of the best books I have ever read on Trading/Stocks/Life Story/Wall Street. I sat down to read this book two nights ago and honestly could not put it down. Not only does Mr. Kane have one heck of a great life story, being a stock Guru, but he talks about Wall Street in a way that anyone can understand. If you are a Novice at trading like myself or a master on Wall Street, I would recommend you reading this. High Finance gives you the bigger picture of the stock market, which is so valuable, while also showing you how to invest wisely, efficiently, and worry free. Big secrets were told in this book, and that's all I will say. HUGE eye opener reading this book, and I look forward to following High Finance's advice in making my first $1,000,000.I think this book would be great for everyone. I could even see a university picking this book up and using it for class material. Really great tools in here. Bought the Kindle version but am about to buy the paper copy because it is such a great book.

Logan provides a lot of keen insight on investing. I couldn't help but take notes along the way. After reading this book, I feel much more confident about entering the trading world and picked up on some great ideas on where to start (and what to avoid). I appreciate the personal anecdotes he included along the way, too. I now realize how important it is to understand the financial world and how making smart decisions earlier in life can make a significant difference later down the road.

This is a great read. The author takes what tends to be thought of as complex finance and investment terms and strategies and easily breaks them into simpler terms the most common of lay investors could understand. I definitely recommend this for anyone even remotely interested in trading or investing in the financial markets.
